I have made a lot of connections in the last couple months through Physiotherapy. The people are great. It makes me wonder if a clinic is right for me. Would I like working with people and being invested in their health everyday?!

This past week I have really tried to think of something I could do that isn't working in a clinic. My mind has thought of armed forces and going into PT school.
I would try to get my doc. degree and have the military pay for it. This is because I don't want to work with total knees everyday and people who are "out of commission". I want to work with active people, athletes, young people. Going through this program at St. Phil makes me realize that I have a very special blessing. I am able to learn about a field I want to go into and see if it is a good fit. I would not get this opportunity with going to St. Philip Catholic Central High School.
This internship has increased a lot of aspects of my life. One being my faith. This has helped my faith because I get to meet a lot of new people. I see their life and subconsciously compare it to mine. I realize that I have it good. I am young and have many many blessings. This has made me appreciate going to St. Philip and furthering my faith.
They company is changing their name. Not sure why they are changing their name but it will be different. We talked about this at the staff meeting. They have to get new shirts and new everything. Lots of changes being made this month.
There was a staff meeting this week. It was interesting to see that side of the company. There is a lot more that goes into doing this field than I thought.
This week I got to work with a lot to patients who I made connections with. Being in this internship has made my people skills a lot stronger. I am able to start conversations with people and keep conversations as well.
I met some people I already have known and I also met some people who knew mutual people. I have been at Physiotherapy for a while now. I have learned many skills and tips in the Physical Therapy profession. I have grown close to many patients along with employees as well.
I keep learning more and more about Physical Therapy. I watch behavior and watch people do when Scott does certain things.
There are still some things I cannot talk about or be apart of. But Scott does a good job of exposing me to everything he can. Interesting enough I would do laundry and clean beds sometimes instead of following Scott around. I like this because it shows the side of the work place EVERYONE does. It felt like I was apart of the team there eat Physic.
